We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various carpentry tasks, including remodeling, trim carpentry, and door hanging. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices and the ability to work with precision and attention to detail. The Carpenter will be responsible for executing projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard, or metal.
• Perform trim carpentry tasks, including the installation of moldings, baseboards, and cabinetry.
• Hang doors and ensure they are properly aligned and functional.
• Execute remodeling projects by following blueprints and project specifications.
• Conduct construction estimating to provide accurate project assessments.
• Utilize metal stud framing techniques for various construction applications.
• Apply caulking to seal joints and gaps for a finished appearance.
• Lift heavy materials as required for various projects while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on-site to ensure project completion.

Skills

• Proficiency in construction estimating techniques.
• Experience in the restoration industry is a plus.
• Ability to plumb structures accurately for proper alignment.
• Strong skills in trim carpentry and door hanging.
