Job Description:

Our firm is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Paralegal to join our team on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive paralegal support to our legal team. This position will offer the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling a wide range of tasks related to legal proceedings, client relations, and internal case management. If you are passionate about the legal field, have an eye for detail, and enjoy working in a team oriented setting, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

1. Assisting with drafting and filing briefs in the Circuit Court
2. Handle communication with clients, witnesses etc.
3. Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and court proceedings.
4. Draft legal documents.
5. Locate and develop case relevant information.
6. Maintain contact lists and monitor deadlines.
7. Ensure all client information is kept confidential.
8. Maintain and update databases and tracking systems.

Qualifications

1. Experience as a Litigation Paralegal or in a similar role.
2. Proficiency in legal management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Ability to multitask and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Knowledge of legal terminology, regulations and court system.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
8. Strong ethical standards and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
