Restaurant Group headquartered in Wynwood, FL is looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
Responsibilities:- Accounts Receivables/Payables
- COGS
- Payroll review & JE
- Systems Management: R365 & Toast
- Prepares monthly & weekly reports (Excel knowledge)
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Special assignments as needed
Requirements:
- Restaurant365 is a huge PLUS
- Proven accounting experience (At least 2 years)
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, etc.
- Ability to read, write and speak fluent English. Bilingual is a plus (Spanish)
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience working with Restaurants or in the Hospitality business
- BS degree in Accounting or Business Administration is a plus
