As a Precision Assembly Quality Auditor, you will be the cornerstone of our dedication to upholding the highest quality benchmarks in every piece and assembly we produce. Utilize your skills and experience to ensure products fulfill specified engineering criteria flawlessly.
Your Actionable Duties:- Perform comprehensive inspections on incoming items, during assembly, and on finished goods against engineering drawings and industry standards.
- Employ precision instruments like calipers and micrometers to carry out receiving, in-process, and final checks.
- Conduct and document First Article Inspections (per AS9102 standards) to maintain rigorous quality assurance.
- Identify non-conformities such as dimensional errors, damages, or surface imperfections, and document these occurrences.
- Engage collaboratively with production and quality teams to rectify quality concerns and maintain internal control measures.
Must-Have Experience:
- 2 to 5 years in manufacturing quality inspection, particularly in aerospace or high-precision machining settings.
- Proficient in dimensional measurement to ±.0005” and interpreting engineering schematics, GD&T specifications.
- Knowledgeable in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height indicators.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Capability to complete AS9102 First Article Inspection documentation.
- Attention to detail, adept problem-solver, and independent worker.
- Must be open to undergoing background investigation and drug testing.
Added Value:
- Experience in the aerospace industry will give you a distinctive edge.
- Experience in visual inspections related to treatments such as heat and anodizing.
- Understanding of ISO/AS standard quality management practices.
- Proficiency in CMM or Keyence Visual System Machine will be advantageous.
