Senior Project Manager (Miami)
Role Overview:
Building Blocks Facades is redefining architecture through cutting-edge Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC), Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC), and glass façade systems. Our work bridges the gap between architectural concept and full execution—delivering iconic, bespoke façades for landmark projects across the U.S., the Middle East, and internationally. We merge advanced material science with digital design and fabrication to push the boundaries of possibility in architectural facades.
The Senior Project Manager will lead complex and challenging projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong relationship management skills to effectively collaborate with top-tier general contractors (GCs), construction managers (CMs), architects, and developer clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership
- Lead and manage complex projects from initiation to completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules.
- Identify and mitigate project risks early in the lifecycle.
- Provide strategic direction and resources to achieve project success.
Client and Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier GCs, CMs, architects, and developer clients.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project.
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality project outcomes.
Scope, Schedule, and Budget Management
- Define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to stay on track.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
Team Development and Collaboration
- Mentor and develop junior project managers and team members.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements:
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Professional Credential Requirements: PMP certification preferred.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the GFRC UHPC industry.
Requirement: Strong understanding of construction processes and methodologies.
Travel Expectations: The ability to travel regularly to job sites or manufacturing plant as needed, +50% travel.
