Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to provide strength-based, solution-focused therapeutic services to our clients. This role involves working closely with our clinical and case management teams, and requires a deep understanding of our clients' needs, strengths, and treatment goals. Responsibilities

• Provide strength-based, solution-focused therapeutic services in the community.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients' strengths, diagnoses, treatment goals, and treatment plans.
• Assess clients' strengths, resources, and goals within the first 30 days of treatment and provide ongoing strength-based planning and treatment.
• Create an Individualized Crisis Recovery Plan for each client within 30 days to reduce risk of harm and restore stability.
• Participate in collaborative meetings with staff, other agencies, and community supports as needed.
• Provide crisis intervention services according to agency policies and procedures.
• Regularly communicate clients' status, including changes in mood or functioning, medical issues, and any crisis or health and safety issues.
• Produce effective, clinical documentation of every contact with clients.
• Attend all office trainings and regular clinical supervision sessions.
• Actively participate in all evaluations conducted by the organization.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work or a mental health related field.
• DMH credential as a Mental Health Therapist.
• A minimum of fifteen (15) hours of graduate level course work and/or practicum experience in applied intervention strategies/methods designed to address behavioral, emotional and mental disorders.
• Proficiency in using computer interfaces for documentation and billing purposes.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
