Active Registered Respiratory Tech (RRT) license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with specialized Level 4 NICU experience is needed to support neonatal respiratory care in a high-acuity environment. This travel position offers an opportunity to work with premature infants requiring advanced respiratory support including HFJV, HFOV, and nitric oxide therapies. The role involves providing critical care in a Level 4 NICU setting with a 6-8:1 patient ratio.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapy to neonates in a Level 4 NICU environment
• Utilize advanced respiratory equipment such as HFJV, HFOV, BCPAP, and nitric oxide
• Monitor and adjust respiratory treatments based on patient needs and physician orders
• Collaborate with the neonatal care team to provide comprehensive care to premature infants
• Document patient information accurately in the EPIC electronic medical record system

Qualifications / Desired Experience

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Level 4 NICU setting
• Current BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
• Proven experience operating high-frequency jet ventilators (HFJV)
• Strong knowledge of respiratory care technologies and protocols for critically ill neonates

Schedule

• 3x12 hour day shifts, 06:45 AM 7:15 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week rotation
