Senior Staff Accountant

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday in-office role located in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

We're Xendoo, Inc., a FinTech company providing cloud-based bookkeeping, accounting, and tax services specifically for small business owners across 10 different industries. We offer financial peace of mind through technology-driven, efficient solutions. We deliver monthly financial reports as early as the fifth business day, supported by a dedicated team of accountants and a user-friendly dashboard for real-time financial visibility, integrating with platforms like QuickBooks Online and Xero.

Our team is growing and in need of additional Senior accountants. Here at Xendoo, our accountants play a vital role in supporting small business owners by delivering accurate financials, proactive advice, and outstanding customer service. Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university
• 5+ years’ experience in full cash-basis and accrual-basis accounting cycles: bookkeeping, A/P and A/R, journal entries, monthly and year-end close, financial statement review and analysis
• Advance-level accounting knowledge (from Cash-basis through Accrual accounting), understands GAAP, and can apply theory practically to everyday accounting
• Deeply understands financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow, Trial Balance, and more) and complex accounting and can analyze and provide guidance in simple terms to customers and co-workers.
• Strong expertise in accounting software flow and can troubleshoot errors
• Technology-driven and uses it to drive success
• Understands small business and cares about the small business owner’s path to growth

Salary Range : $70,000-$85,000
