Job Description
At Chick-fil-A, the Preparation and Dishwasher role is more than just a job; it's an opportunity. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our kitchen operates efficiently, safely, and cleanly. You’ll work in food prep from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and transition to the dish station from 6:30 PM to 10:45 PM. In addition to working directly for an independent Owner/Operator, you’ll gain life experience that goes far beyond the kitchen - and be part of a team committed to excellence and care in everything we do.
Position Type:
Monday - Wednesday shift and/or Thursday - Saturday shift available (Monday - Saturday availability preferred)
Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:45 PM
Starting Pay: $14.50/hour

Prep & Dish Team Member Responsibilities:
Prep (2:00 PM – 6:00 PM):
- Follow prep lists and procedures to prepare fresh ingredients accurately and safely
- Label, store, and rotate food properly to ensure freshness and food safety
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Support inventory management and kitchen restocking as needed
Dish (6:30 PM – 10:45 PM):
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize kitchenware
- Maintain cleanliness of dish station, including sinks and equipment
- Remove trash from designated areas
- Assist in end-of-day kitchen cleaning and closing duties
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Consistent and reliable with strong work ethic
- Cheerful, positive attitude and willingness to serve
- Enjoys working behind the scenes in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable standing for extended periods of time
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Follows direction well and works with a sense of urgency
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Willing to adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
