Job Summary : Director of Sales Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Sales for a hospitality group to lead our sales department and drive revenue growth for our organization. The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing a team of sales professionals, and achieving sales targets. This is a senior-level position that requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and exceptional sales expertise. Individual must be based in the Central Florida region Responsibilities: - Develop Sales Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive business
growth, increase market share, and achieve sales targets. - Sales Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to ensure
high performance and productivity. Provide guidance, training, and support to help team members succeed. - Sales Forecasting and Planning: Develop sales forecasts, set ambitious sales goals, and create
effective sales plans and budgets. - Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities,
understand customer needs, and stay ahead of market trends. Use these insights to develop targeted sales strategies. - Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key
customers and clients. Identify potential customers, pursue new business opportunities, and nurture existing accounts. - Sales Performance Measurement: Track and analyze sales metrics, monitor sales performance
against targets, and generate regular reports for senior management. Use data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. - Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product
development, and operations, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration. - Sales Training and Development: Develop training programs and initiatives to enhance the skills
and knowledge of the sales team. Provide ongoing coaching and support to help team members improve their sales techniques. - Budget Management: Manage the sales department's budget, allocate resources effectively,
and optimize the use of sales tools and technologies. - Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging
technologies to maintain a competitive edge. Job Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in sales management, preferably in a leadership role with a catering company, full service hotel or restaurant group.
- Sales Expertise: In-depth knowledge of sales strategies, techniques, and best practices within the hospitality industry.
Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. - Leadership Skills: Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales
team. Experience in managing and developing high-performing hospitality sales professionals. - Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop innovative sales strategies. Strong
analytical skills to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions. - Excellent Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to
effectively present ideas, negotiate, and build relationships with customers and stakeholders. - Customer Focus: Customer-centric mindset with a strong understanding of customer needs and
market dynamics. - Results-Oriented: Proven track record of delivering results and meeting/exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in using CRM software (Tripleseat), sales analytics tools, and
other sales-related technologies. - Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed and adapt to changing market conditions.
