Sales Manager - GALLERYone DoubleTree Suites by Hilton
Join the Sales team at GALLERYone DoubleTree Suites by Hilton . Located on Fort Lauderdale’s Intracoastal Waterway, our property offers 231 all-suite accommodations and over 7,200 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, including a waterfront ballroom for up to 400 guests. Just steps from the Galleria Mall and minutes from the beach, this upscale property is ideal for corporate events, weddings, and group travel.
The ideal candidate has a strong sales background with a minimum of 3 years experience, is skilled in networking and comfortable going outside of the property to prospect, the ability to demonstrate experience in negotiating rates and terms of service contracts with clients.
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM
Pay Range: Between $31.25-$36.06 per hour - Final offer based on experience.

What will I be doing?
As an Outside Sales Manager, you would be responsible for representing the hotel’s services and facilities to prospective clients and customers in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Respond to inquiries from potential clients and customers seeking sleeping rooms, meeting space, food and beverage services, etc.
- Travel primarily outside the hotel to initiate new sales, solicit leads, hold conferences and make sales proposals and presentations
- Host and entertain clients and maintain client accounts
- Determine rates and negotiate contracts
- Develop sales strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals
