We’re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Staff Accountant II to join our Accounting & Finance team. In this role, you’ll maintain and control general ledger accounts, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and support business operations by applying GAAP principles. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects and help drive financial excellence across our network of entertainment technology companies.

What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Staff Accountant II, you will take ownership of critical accounting functions while supporting process improvement and compliance efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts and create journal entries as needed.
- Conduct monthly department commission calculations for review.
- Analyze general ledger accounts and propose reclassifications where appropriate.
- Review allocation of costs to ensure proper coding of direct and indirect expenses.
- Maintain fixed asset records, track disposals/gains, and prepare related journal entries.
- Assist with inter-company transactions and monthly payroll accruals.
- Track and allocate prepaid expenses according to policy.
- Perform thorough reviews of monthly financials to support accurate month-end close.
- Assist with preparation and filing of sales tax, tangible property, and other business taxes.
- Support the annual audit and contribute to management reporting as required.
- Participate in special projects focused on improving financial tracking and reconciliation.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, OR equivalent experience plus 5 years of related accounting experience.
- Proficiency in fixed assets management, commission calculations, and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
