Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, rotating weekends for call

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality physical therapy evaluations and treatments to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to help patients achieve their functional goals
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document patient progress accurately in the Meditech system
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and safety precautions
• Participate in team conferences and contribute to discharge planning

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy license in Florida (required)
• Current BLS certification (required)
• At least 2 years of physical therapy experience (required)
• IRF or SNF experience preferred
• Previous travel experience is a plus
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and work independently

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in using Meditech for documentation
• Experience with rehabilitation equipment such as treadmill, car simulators, RT300, Bioness systems, and BITS
• Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
