Position Description:

The Briar Team , Central Florida's top family-owned Site Development Construction company, is looking for hard-working, experienced, and reliable Foremen for immediate hire with excellent pay and benefits, performance bonuses, profit sharing, generous paid time off and yearly loyalty bonuses, in addition to training and opportunities for growth.

We are looking for someone with a solid background in leadership for our Pipe, Grade or Punch Out crews.

As a Foreman, you will provide support in a variety of construction projects. To be successful in this position, you must work well as the leader of a team, be able to train and instruct new crew members in their individual tasks, enjoy working outdoors, and be able to perform strenuous physical tasks.

Benefits:

Salary: $27.50-$33.00

Pay Rate: Weekly

5am-3:30pm Monday through Friday with Saturdays on an as-needed basis

PTO at 6 months

Position Requirements:

Job Requirements for Pipe Foreman:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in construction or plumbing is preferred
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in pipe laying pressure or gravity underground systems or related construction work
3. At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or foreman role
4. Strong knowledge of pipe installation, repair, and maintenance techniques
5. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
6. Proficient in using construction and pipe-laying tools and equipment
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
10. Commitment to safety standards and regulations
11. Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
12. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
13. Willingness to travel to various job sites as required

Job Requirements for Road Base/Grade Foreman:

1. Base/Grade Foreman will balance and stabilize roadways.
2. Once roads are stabilized and curb installed, base crew will install base and finish grade roads for asphalt.
3. Base foreman will run the road grader full time
4. Foreman plus: 3-man crew, loader operator and 2 ground support workers. Foreman bringing their own crews preferred.
5. Supervise and coordinate the activities of the road base and grading crew.
6. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
7. Interpret and enforce construction plans, specifications, and safety standards.
8. Assign tasks to crew members based on project requirements and individual skill sets.
9. Inspect work progress and quality to ensure adherence to design specifications.
10. Operate and maintain heavy machinery, such as graders and rollers, as needed.
11. Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
12. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to address any technical or scheduling issues.
13. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs and project reports.
14. Order and manage materials, supplies, and equipment necessary for project completion.
15. Train new employees on proper grading techniques and safety protocols.
16. Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
17. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues arising during the grading process.
18. Monitor weather conditions and adjust project plans accordingly.
19. Ensure proper drainage and compaction techniques are applied during construction.

Job Requirements for Punchout Foreman:

1. Pouring valve pads
2. Cleaning & Painting sanitary manholes
3. Touching up mud work in storm boxes
4. Setting meter boxes
5. Installing blow offs
6. Assisting your crew in their daily labor tasks.
7. Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools.
8. Loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment.
9. Removing debris, garbage, and dangerous materials from site.
10. Assembling and breaking down barricades and temporary structures.
11. Regulating traffic and erecting traffic signs.
12. Digging holes, trenches, and shafts.
13. Mixing, pouring, and leveling concrete.
14. Using power tools such as concrete saws and jackhammers.
15. Following health and safety regulations.
16. Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
17. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
18. Willingness to travel to various job sites as required
