Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Locum Tenens Nursing Job in Clyde, North Carolina

Compensation
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1800 - $1840
- Location: Clyde, NC 28721 (Western North Carolina nursing jobs)
- Assignment Type: Locum tenens / travel nurse contract
- Unit: Med/Surg Telemetry
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (09/29/2025 – 12/29/2025)
- Facility: 39-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a 154-bed hospital
- Electronic Health Record: Paragon EHR
- Orientation: Bi-weekly start dates for new travel nurses
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license (North Carolina or compact state)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
- BLS certification (required for all RN jobs)
- Ability to float to weekends as needed
- Strong clinical skills in adult and geriatric patient care
- Must reside 60+ miles from facility to qualify as a travel nurse
- Professionalism, adaptability, and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry data and cardiac events
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, perform patient assessments, and document care in the Paragon EHR system
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
