Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for a 13-week travel assignment at a 350-bed hospital in Brooksville, FL, requiring acute care case management experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Case Management unit within a 350-bed acute care hospital in Brooksville, FL
• Team consists of Case Managers (RNs) and Social Workers, with a SNF coordinator
• Patient caseload ratio of 25:1
• Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Alternating weekend requirement
• EMR systems used: Meditech and Midas (experience preferred)

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license required
• Active BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care case management experience required
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Two professional references required for FL-based candidates
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Experience with Meditech and/or Midas EMR systems is preferred
• Prior HCA experience is preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis with hospital employees
• Navy blue scrubs required for RNs
