Survey Technician
Job Title: Survey Technician/I-Man
Job Description
We are looking for honest, hard-working, energetic, and motivated individuals to join our Land Survey Crews in Florida. As an Instrument Operator, you will focus on residential and existing boundary surveying projects with a team. A minimum of one year of experience using field instruments is required.
Shift: 6:45 am start time at the office- ride with crew (8 to 10 hr days)
Pay: 18-21/hr
Responsibilities
- Run instruments and perform lot calculations.
- Utilize Nomad & Ranger Surveying Equipment for specific and detailed data collection.
- Effectively record data.
- Work typically averages up to 40-45 hours per week.
Essential Skills
- 1+ years of survey experience.
- Experience using data collectors equipment such as Nomad, Ranger, Topcon, Recon.
- Proficiency in topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and residential surveys.
- Valid driver's license.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1 year of I-Man experience, including staking, data collection, and running instruments.
- Ability to work in field conditions.
- Residential boundary survey experience.

Work Environment
The position operates with 2-man crews consisting of an I-Man and Party Chief. You will collect equipment and reports in the office, clocking in at 6:45 am and leaving the office with the team by 7 am. The work involves accurately recording data based on reports provided by the Party Chief, with work hours ranging from 8 to 10 hours a day (typically finishing between 3-5 PM), five days a week.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
