School Receptionist
This is a full-time, hourly position working Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. The position is located in Enterprise, FL.

What You Need
- AA Degree and two years' of experience, preferred
- High school degree; experience in an office management position
- Additional certification in Office Management is a plus
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer telephone, screen and direct calls
- Take and relay messages
- Provide information to callers
- Greet persons entering organization
- Direct persons to correct destination
- Give Tours
- Deal with queries from the public and customers
- Collect and register payments
- Coordinate with finance
- Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization
- Provide general administrative and clerical support
- Prepare correspondence and documents
- Receive and sort mail and deliveries
- Schedule appointments
- Maintain appointment diary either manually or electronically
- Organize conference and meeting room bookings
- Co-ordinate meetings and organize catering
- Monitor and maintain office equipment
- Control inventory relevant to reception area
- Tidy and maintain the reception area
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and area
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure reception area is stocked with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
- Update calendars and schedule meetings
- Keep updated records of office expenses and costs
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
- Treat staff with respect and in a professional way
- Maintain student records
- Administer medications in accordance of ECED policies and procedures
- Supervise other office staff
- Treat children and family members with dignity, compassion and respect. Always remain objective.
