Personal Lines Underwriter / Sales Representative – Homeowners Specialist
South Florida Insurance Agency – Full Time
We are seeking a licensed 220 agent to take the lead in running our fast-paced Homeowners Department . This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, detail-oriented, and outgoing professional to join a growing agency and make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rewrite policies that are non-renewed and review coverages at renewal.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the policy term.
- Review coverages with clients, discuss mitigation credits, and identify opportunities for coverage improvements.
- Call insureds and mortgage companies regarding renewals and updates.
- Cross-sell all other personal lines
- Handle mortgage changes and work directly with underwriters to resolve missing information or documentation requests.
- Provide carriers with renewal information as needed.
- Manage billing inquiries and confidently answer all homeowners insurance questions.
Qualifications:
- Active 220 license required.
- Proficiency with Citizens and major South Florida carriers.
- Strong understanding of billing systems and underwriting procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly aggressive, outgoing , and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment .
- Prior personal lines / homeowners' insurance experience preferred.
