Active Registered Respiratory Tech (RRT) license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exceptional opportunity for a Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in Level 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to provide expert care for premature infants. This travel position is based in Winter Garden, FL, with an assignment at a leading pediatric healthcare facility renowned for its commitment to advanced neonatal care and family-centered support.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to premature infants in a Level 4 NICU setting.
• Utilize specialized equipment including High-Frequency Jet Ventilation (HFJV), High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV), conventional ventilation, nitric oxide delivery, BiPAP Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (BCPAP), High-Flow Nasal Cannula (HHFNC), and Long-Term Ventilation (LTV).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary neonatal care teams to develop and implement respiratory care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using EPIC Electronic Medical Records.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Level 4 NICU environment.
• Proficiency in HFJV and other advanced neonatal respiratory support technologies.
• Ability to work a 3x12 day shift schedule (06:45 19:15), including six weekend shifts per 6-week rotation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
