Sub-Zero is a respected HVAC name in the Florida Keys, now proudly operating under the Rocket Cooling umbrella. We've built our reputation by supporting the local residential and commercial market—including the thriving hospitality industry in Key West and beyond.

Now, as part of Rocket Cooling, we're expanding. We're hiring HVAC technicians of all types to support our growth: from new construction projects like airport terminals and multi-family housing, to ongoing service, installs, and maintenance for homes, resorts, and commercial properties.

We're hiring for multiple technician roles:

• HVAC Construction Technicians (rough-in, install, layout, and startup)
• Commercial Service Techs (diagnostics, refrigeration experience a plus)
• Residential Technicians specializing in service, install, or maintenance
• HVAC Maintenance Techs (system tune-ups, inspections, performance checks)

What You'll Be Doing (based on experience and role):

• Install and commission HVAC systems for new construction projects, including multi-family and commercial buildings
• Service and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections for homes and businesses
• Work on duct systems, copper refrigerant lines (including brazing), and electrical wiring
• Utilize ServiceTitan to manage scheduling, job details, estimates, and customer communication
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members
• Follow all safety guidelines and ensure code compliance on every job

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of HVAC experience in new construction, commercial service, or residential service/install/maintenance
• Refrigeration experience is a plus, especially for commercial or hospitality accounts
• EPA Certification preferred (Universal ideal)
• Ability to read blueprints or install layouts (especially for construction roles)
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills (especially for service roles)
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record
• A self-starter with a team-player attitude
• Willingness to live in or commute to Key West and work in local conditions
