Mechanical Design Engineer for Architectural Projects
Execution and supervision of projects involving the design of complex mechanical engineering systems
Preparation of mechanical engineering plans and analysis
Develop, direct and supervise many different types of projects simultaneously
Ability to interface well with other engineering disciplines
Maintain effective client relations
Identify and define scope, technique, price and schedule
Recognize and initiate business opportunities
Prepare proposals with limited supervision
Design and develop mechanical specifications and standards
Attend site visits as necessary
Coordinate with government representatives and regulatory agencies in all aspects of mechanical planning, permitting, designing and construction administration Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or 4 years equivalent experience
4+ years of professional experience in Mechanical Engineering
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
Demonstrated maturity in judgment, initiative and client relations
Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to prepare reports and proposals
Ability and willingness to develop business from new and existing clients
Experience in municipal, commercial, state and federal project assignments is a plus Salary is based on experience. Diversity Statement
