Our new Immokalee clinic is amission-based facility serving the primarily Spanish-speaking migrant community, with a need for bilingual therapists.Services are provided regardless of a familys ability to pay, and the clinic shares space with the University of Florida dental program (offering free dental care), Able Academy (providing ABA services in local preschools and daycares), and Meals of Hope (operating a free community food pantry). About this Position:
As a Speech Language Pathologist in our outpatient clinics, you will have the time and resources to provideone-on-one carewith35-minute treatment sessions, ensuring high-quality interactions and better patient outcomes. With amaximum of 10 patients per day, you'll have the opportunity to focus on delivering personalized care without the burden of overwhelming caseloads. We also offerflexible scheduling options, including weekends and holidays off, to help you maintain a healthywork-life balance.
In this role you will be responsible for providing screening, evaluation, treatment, and education for those who demonstrate impairments of speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and/or swallowing. The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for adherence to and compliance with all American Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA) professional standards. The SLP is engaged in administration, consultation, education and research. The SLP is expected to conduct themselves in an effective professional behavior manner. The attributes, characteristics or behaviors required for success in this job include: critical thinking, communication, problem solving, interpersonal skills, responsibility, professionalism, use of constructive feedback, effective use of time and resources, stress management, and commitment to learning.
About our Rehabilitation Team:
Our Rehabilitation Services team is one of the largest and most dynamic in the region. With over 700 skilled professionals dedicated to helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence through comprehensive, compassionate care. Our licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists work closely with medical teams to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patients unique needs. Beyond core therapy services, we offer a variety of specialty programs including neurological rehabilitation, vestibular and balance therapy, lymphedema management, pelvic health therapy, and oncology rehabilitation. With services spanning acute care, skilled nursing, home health, and outpatient settings, our team delivers exceptional, evidence-based care that restores function and enhances quality of life.
What this Position Requires:
Education: Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Experience: Certificate of Clinical Competency.
Certification: BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support).
License: Active Florida State Speech Language Pathologist Licensure.
Other: Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
