OnSpot Dermatology is seeking a driven and experienced Full-Time Clinical Lead to join our growing team in Orlando. This “player-coach” role is ideal for a highly capable and compassionate Medical Assistant who thrives in both leadership and hands-on clinical settings. You will support dermatologic services on-site at our mobile clinics while also playing a vital role in managing operations and mentoring staff.

The Clinical Lead is a hybrid clinical/operational role responsible for providing direct patient care support, managing daily clinical workflows, overseeing Mohs surgical support, and training new staff. This role requires strong multitasking, leadership, and communication skills as you serve as the primary liaison between the clinical team and operations leadership.

• Perform all Medical Assistant responsibilities including:

  • Rooming and intake of patients, collecting medical histories, and scribing for providers.

  • Supporting providers during Mohs and other procedures.

  • Ensuring accurate labeling and processing of pathology specimens.

  • Scheduling patient follow-ups and coordinating with labs as needed.

  • Providing compassionate care and a warm, friendly patient experience.

• Serve as Mohs Lead during surgical days:

  • Prepare Mohs trays, supplies, and instruments.

  • Manage tissue tracking, mapping, and coordination with the provider.

  • Ensure a sterile and efficient surgical workflow.

• Act as a “player-coach” by leading by example in clinical excellence.

• Transport medical supplies and equipment between mobile clinics and storage hubs as needed.

• Maintain and manage inventory levels for general clinical supplies and Mohs-specific materials.

• Conduct daily and weekly supply checks and communicate reordering needs.

• Train and onboard new Medical Assistants and clinical team members in protocols, safety, and patient care.

• Ensure compliance with clinical policies, safety standards, and documentation requirements.

• Identify operational issues and provide proactive solutions in coordination with the regional clinical manager.

• 2+ years of dermatology or surgical assistant experience preferred.

  • EMA experience is a plus.

• Experience in Mohs surgery support is highly preferred .

• Proven leadership experience in a clinical setting is a strong plus.

• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license for supply transport.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

• Full-time role with flexible scheduling between Monday–Saturday, typically 7:00AM–4:00PM.
