Job Title : Warranty Supervisor (3rd Shift)
Location : Coney Island, New York
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 10PM-6AM
Pay Range : $72-82K/YR
We are seeking an experienced Warranty Supervisor to oversee daily warranty operations supporting a leading manufacturer of heavy industrial equipment. This hands-on leadership position is responsible for coordinating field activities, supervising technical personnel, managing customer relationships, and ensuring warranty work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Serving as the primary liaison between operations, customers, and vendors, the Warranty Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction by ensuring warranty repairs, modifications, and service activities are completed on schedule while meeting operational, financial, and safety objectives. This opportunity is ideal for a mechanically inclined leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment and enjoys balancing technical oversight with team leadership and customer interaction. Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements. Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and supervise daily warranty operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies and customer expectations
- Coordinate and assign work to technical and clerical personnel while providing coaching, training, performance feedback, and day-to-day leadership
- Develop daily work schedules, monitor progress, and adjust staffing and priorities to meet operational objectives and customer deadlines
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding warranty activities, providing regular updates and maintaining strong professional relationships
- Monitor labor utilization, staffing levels, and overtime to ensure efficient operations and adherence to budget objectives
- Coordinate vendor activities and ensure warranty repairs, modifications, and supporting documentation are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment by enforcing company safety policies and customer site requirements
- Review work quality, identify process improvements, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction
- Prepare operational reports, audit daily labor documentation, and maintain accurate records of warranty activities and personnel
- Support workforce development through employee training, performance management, and succession planning while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience in warranty, manufacturing, production, quality, engineering, or a related industrial environment, or three (3) years of mechanical or technical experience with demonstrated leadership responsibilities
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial equipment or manufacturing operations
- Ability to read and interpret both English and Metric measurements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based reporting systems
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and adapt effectively in a fast-paced operational environment
- Professional customer-facing communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships
- Ability to work in an active industrial environment, including climbing ladders or stairs and lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 40 pounds
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Previous experience supervising warranty, service, maintenance, or field support operations
- Experience working within rail, transportation, heavy equipment, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or other industrial environments
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, or third-party service providers
- Familiarity with labor reporting, production scheduling, workforce planning, and budget management
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
- Experience supporting customer-facing operations with a strong focus on service excellence and operational performance
