Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a NICU Transport position requiring helicopter and ambulance transport experience, with a FL or compact license and night shift availability.
Details
- NICU Transport unit within a 615-bed short-term acute care hospital
- Level II Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma designated facility
- Patient ratio of 1:1
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
- 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
- Charting is done in Cerner
Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
- Current certifications required: BLS, NRP, and PALS
- Minimum 2 years of NICU/Peds transport nursing experience required
- Helicopter and ambulance transport experience required
Additional Information
- Provides neonatal and pediatric critical care during helicopter and ambulance transport
- Scrub color: Royal Blue
- No RTO during the contract; RTO requests may be discussed during the interview if applicable
- Local candidates are not accepted for this position
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
- State Board of Nursing license verification and NURSYS verification required for consideration
