Front Desk Assistant (Fort Lauderdale)
Under the supervision of the Office Manager, the Front Desk Administrative Assistant performs front office reception duties and a variety of administrative support tasks. Performance is evaluated based on the ability to present a positive first impression, judged on accuracy and efficiency in completing the tasks.
About the Role
Essential Functions:
- Present a positive first impression for clients and guests whether answering company calls or greeting guests.
- Collect, sort, distribute and prepare mail, faxes, messages and courier deliveries.
- Maintain general office and break room appearance.
- Maintain office and break room supplies.
- File, maintain, scan and update records using firm technologies.
- Assist with firm-sponsored events, in-house luncheons and staff meetings.
- Complete other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working at a professional services firm.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Required Skills
- Advanced attention to detail
- Ability to perform work with little or no supervision.
- Excellent grammar, punctuation, spelling, and writing skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to utilize resources available to complete assigned projects.
- Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with overall company operations and an ability to understand correlations between internal operating departments.
