Administrative Assistant to the Governance Department

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our Governance Department in Bartow, FL . The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the department, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the department's activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to prioritize tasks effectively, and have excellent communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in an administrative support role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Experience with board governance and/or nonprofit organizations.
• Experience with project management software.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the Governance Department, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
• Assist with the preparation of materials for board meetings and other governance-related activities.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Governance Department.
