Spectrum Comm Inc. is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team in supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) operations. The Warehouse Manager will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring that the facility runs smoothly and efficiently while providing logistical support and managing personnel. The ideal candidate will lead a team that is dedicated to delivering quality service while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and storage of goods.
• Supervise, train, and develop warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance with regulations.
• Implement efficient warehouse processes to improve productivity and inventory accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize supply chain operations and meet delivery schedules.
• Ensure safety protocols are adhered to, conducting regular safety inspections and training sessions.
• Prepare reports on inventory, shipping, and operational activities to upper management.
• Resolve any issues related to order fulfillment, shipments, and warehouse operations.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Required Experience:

• More than 3 years of experience managing warehousing operations within the Department of War and preferably Department of the Navy.

• Experience with Department of the Navy systems and their associated warehousing needs, ensuring efficient and compliant operations.

• Experience communicating effectively with various stakeholders.

• Experience managing cost, schedule, and performance metrics to optimize warehouse efficiency and meet program objectives.

• Manage and motivate warehouse teams, ensuring high levels of productivity and adherence to safety standards.

• Knowledgeable in risk management policies and assessment methodologies, identifying and mitigating potential risks to warehouse operations.

Certifications

Forklift certification is preferred.

Prior experience in government contracting or DoD supply chain operations is a plus.
