AMPERA, a growing company pioneering modular energy systems, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. This role will be responsible for general accounting functions, account reconciliations, and accounts payable activities. The ideal candidate will have 35 years of accounting experience, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment. **NOTE - This is an onsite position based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Remote or hybrid work is not available for this role. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general accounting duties, including journal entries and month-end close support
- Prepare and maintain account reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, and general ledger accounts)
- Process and manage accounts payable, including invoice and payments processing
- Assist with financial reporting and internal controls
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records
- Support audits and provide requested documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data
- Utilize accounting systems and tools to improve efficiency (NetSuite experience is a plus)
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 35 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices
- Experience with account reconciliations and accounts payable
- MBA, CPA or CMA designation is a plus
- Experience using NetSuite or similar ERP systems is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard accounting tools
