Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Detox & RTC Level of Care

Position Summary:
We are seeking committed and compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our Detox and Residential Treatment Center (RTC) teams. The ideal candidates will have experience in substance abuse and/or mental health treatment and will provide direct care to clients in our detox and residential programs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of clients' health status, including CIWA and COWS assessments, vitals, and withdrawal monitoring.
• Administer medications and ensure adherence to medication schedules.
• Monitor detox clients closely, providing appropriate interventions and reporting any changes in condition to the medical team.
• Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, interventions, and any incidents.
• Educate clients on medication, health conditions, and steps toward achieving and maintaining sobriety.
• Provide compassionate support and guidance to clients throughout their treatment journey.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
• Participate in shift handoff reports to communicate client status, concerns, and treatment plans effectively.

Qualifications:

• Active RN or LPN license in the state of Florida (required).
• Experience in detox, substance abuse, and/or mental health settings (preferred).
• Knowledge of CIWA/COWS assessments and withdrawal protocols.
• Strong clinical skills, including medication management, health assessments, and emergency response.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compassion and professionalism.
• CPR/BLS certification (required).
