Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $28 - $28 / hour*
What you'll be doing as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic :
- Observes mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble
- Disassemble and assemble production lines/equipment as needed
- Adjusts functional parts and control instruments to improve productivity
- Repairs and replaces defective parts
- Lubricates and cleans parts
- perform preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot and repair paper converting processing and packaging production equipment
- Employ basic shop floor skills (lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools)
- Demonstrate safe and proper application of hand, pneumatic and electric tools
- assist production in breakdowns and production line changes
- performs other duties as assigned by the Lead or Supervisor
- Trouble shoor control circuits A/C and D/C
- Ensure plant compliance with company polices and procedures as well as SQF food safety standards
Available shifts:
Shift Timings: 2nd Shift (Evening)
Job requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
- Must have the ability to read prints and or schematics
- Must have basic PLC experience
- General understanding or paper un-winding, tension and breaking
- Must have general mechanical knowledge
- Prefer basic pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge
- Prefer basic general Electrical knowledge
- Must be available to work 2nd shift
- Prefer three to five years of successful manufacturing maintenance experience
- Must comply with all company food and safety and quality standards.
- Must comply with Departmental SOP's and GMP's
- Ability to make recommendations on spare parts, lock-out tag-out, guarding, and the level of operator involvement for proper machine integrity.
- Basic welding a plus
- Background check and Drug test required
