: Summary The ideal candidate has event industry interest. Potential candidates must have great organizational and communication skills, have a good eye for design, are detail oriented and can multitask. We are looking for leadership quality, ability to problem solve and have flexible hours. Preferred skills minor carpentry, knowledge of painting, fabric design and lighting during event installation. Have great organizational and communication skills, is detail oriented and the ability to multitask between projects. The ability to lift heavy décor items is needed. Must have a flexible schedule. They are required to drive a small box truck, van, golf cart and have a valid driver's license. Essential Functions

• Job duties include, although are not limited to: Assist in the building, installation, and tear down of props/scenery/florals for scheduled events in a timely and safe manner.
• Move furniture, plants, arches and roll carpets as necessary.
• Remove trash from event areas and transport to waste disposal area.
• Keep all event areas and warehouse clean and tidy.
• Assist guests and meeting planners in a friendly and professional manner, providing information on Resort facilities and activities.
• Assist fellow associates.
• Report any maintenance work, damage, or missing items to supervisor. Take ownership of equipment.
• Turn in lost and found items to supervisor or Security.
• Clean and maintain equipment and report problems or service needs to supervisor.
• Maintain a safe working environment. Report and correct, if possible, any unsafe acts or conditions.
• Ongoing training provided to enhance creative skills.
• Assist with floral deliveries when needed.
• Maintain Drivers Log by signing in and completing form in log each time you are driving a vehicle.
• Vehicle Inspection sheet to be completed before and after each use.
• Load Sheets to be properly filled out with all returned and missing items. Supervisor to be made aware of any missing or damaged items during shift.
• Photos to be taken on site of any damage that occurred.
• All doors to be secured and locked when leaving the building.
• Orders pulled for the next day and truck loaded accordingly.
• Parking Lot area and front entrance to be maintained before end of shift.
• Radio etiquette & communicate internally.
• Proper uniform is to be always worn. Black pants, black socks, black shoes, uniform shirt and neatly pressed. Shorts are permitted on outdoor setups only.
• Drive truck when necessary.
• On site job enhancements i.e., skirting, linens, etc.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by supervisors/managers.

Internal Relationships Reports to Boca by Design managers and supervisors. Resort manager, associates, guest and clients. External Relationships Has regular contact with vendors, clients, members, and guests. Qualifications

• Understand/Speak/Read/Write English fluently
• Must have reliable transportation and a flexible schedule.
• Warehouse or event company experience preferred.
• Comfort level of driving a BBD truck and van. Valid driver's license.

Education/Experience Requirements High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required. Physical Requirements Able to lift/carry 50 lbs Must be able to sit, stand, stoop or bend for duration of shift (at least 8 hours)
