Internal Medicine GME Clinic Preceptor (FT or PT) - Wellington, FL

Position Type: Full-Time | Outpatient | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Wellington Regional Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician to join our team as a Clinic Preceptor in the Internal Medicine Graduate Medical Education (GME) Continuity of Care Clinic . This is an excellent opportunity for a physician passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of internal medicine physicians in an outpatient academic setting.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor internal medicine residents in a continuity of care outpatient clinic along with other preceptors.
• Physician will work with resident physicians as well as see their own panel of patients on select days.
• Support residents’ academic and clinical growth through effective teaching and mentorship

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted Florida medical license in good standing.
• Previous experience required teaching residents in a clinical setting.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teaching abilities.
• A commitment to academic excellence and fostering medical education.
