We are seeking professional, dependable, and service-oriented NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) Drivers to join our growing team serving Palm Beach County and surrounding communities.
Every day, our drivers help transport patients safely to and from hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, nursing homes, medical appointments, assisted living communities, and their homes. Our team plays a critical role in ensuring patients receive the care, dignity, and support they deserve.

Position Overview
As an NEMT Driver, you will safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other healthcare destinations.
You'll work directly with patients, family members, nurses, case managers, discharge planners, and healthcare professionals while providing exceptional customer service and compassionate care throughout every interaction.
This role requires professionalism, strong communication skills, attention to safety, and a genuine desire to help others.
What You'll Do
Patient Transportation
Safely transport ambulatory, wheelchair, and stretcher patients
Assist patients entering and exiting vehicles
Secure wheelchairs and medical equipment properly
Follow established transportation and safety procedures
Ensure patients arrive safely and on time
Patient Care & Customer Service
Provide a compassionate, professional experience during every trip
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Assist individuals who may have mobility or medical challenges
Maintain patience, empathy, and professionalism during stressful situations
Deliver outstanding customer service and bedside manner
Healthcare Coordination
Work closely with hospitals, nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, and medical offices
Coordinate transportation schedules and patient handoffs
Communicate effectively with dispatch and healthcare personnel
Complete required transportation documentation accurately
Safety & Compliance
Follow all company safety procedures and transportation regulations
Maintain a clean and professional vehicle appearance
Participate in required training and certification programs
Ensure all patient transportation activities meet company standards
Training & Development
No medical transportation experience? That's okay.
TLC Solutions provides a structured onboarding and training program for motivated individuals who demonstrate professionalism and a strong work ethic.
Training typically includes:
2–4 weeks of hands-on field training
Ride-along experience with experienced team members
Driver assistant/helper responsibilities during training
Vehicle operations and patient transport procedures
Customer service and patient care standards
Safety and compliance instruction
New hires will be paired with experienced professionals to ensure they are fully prepared before operating independently.
Compensation
Weekly Pay
Starting pay: Approximately $15.00 per hour
Experienced candidates may earn up to $18.00 per hour
Weekly payroll

Qualifications
Required
Valid driver's license
Authorization to work in the United States
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English
Clean driving record with no significant moving violations or infractions within the past two years
Ability to pass a background check
Professional appearance and conduct
Strong customer service and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and dependable work habits
Preferred
Previous driving or transportation experience
Customer service experience
Healthcare experience
Medical transportation experience
Experience assisting elderly or mobility-limited individuals
Certifications
The following certifications may be required after hire:
CPR Certification
First Aid Certification
Basic Safety Training
