Charlotte Pipe and Foundry , located in  Wildwood FL , is looking for a Shipping person with a proven track record to join our team.

Charlotte Pipe and Foundry  is a leading manufacturer of pipe and fittings. We are the only manufacturer that offers a complete system of cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS and FlowGuard Gold® pipe and fittings for residential and commercial plumbing systems and industrial applications. Charlotte Pipe and Foundry is seeking a full-time Shipping Warehouse person. In this position, you will fill customer orders by operating a forklift to select, count, assemble and load materials. Also will complete paperwork, operator computers, hand tools and maintain equipment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience within a shipping environment is a plus but not required.
• Experience with operating equipment (forklift, stock picker, etc.)
• The ability to complete proper records.
• The ability to apply basic math principles
• Computer skills
• Basic troubleshooting skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  include the following. Other duties may be assigned

• Complete maintenance vehicle inspection (oil, fluids, belts, tires, etc.)
• Work under Safety Guidelines and handbook policies
• Operate forklift and stock picker
• Check and recheck orders to insure accuracy
• Review and record incoming materials as required (checking materials vs packing list, etc.)
• Load and unload trucks
• Understand/trouble shoot equipment including computer, printer, scanner, bander, stapler, etc.
• Keep work area up to 5S Housekeeping and Safety Standards
