JOB TITLE: PCB Rework & Repair Specialist

LOCATION: Clearwater, FL

PAY RATE: Up to $26/hour

Summary:

• Performs a range of assembly tasks-both repetitive and complex-on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies including modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.

• Working from diagrams and drawings, performing initial layouts, and using hand/power tools, jigs, and saws.

• Conducts continuity checks and may perform quality inspections in line with specifications.

• May also disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies under simulated conditions.

• Solder/desolder fine-pitch components on printed circuit boards (PCBs)

• Solder surface-mount components to PCBs

• Repair damaged PCB traces, through-hole pads, surface mount pads, and internal circuitry

• Replace damaged gold contacts

• Remove and replace through-hole and surface-mount components

• Perform hot gas rework for Ball Grid Array (BGA) devices

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• 5+ years of experience in PCB rework/repair or a similar role

• IPC Certification (e.g., IPC-7711/7721 or similar)

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Computer literacy

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
