Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance and accounting team. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records.
• Assist with external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience (public or corporate).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
