Position Purpose - Pelvic health physical therapists specialize in evaluating and treating dysfunction of the pelvic floor muscles, nerves, and connective tissues for all genders and ages. Their purpose is to relieve pain, improve bladder/bowel control, and restore sexual function, often addressing issues related to pregnancy, postpartum, surgery, or chronic conditions .

Pelvic Health PT - $15,000 Sign on Bonus

What you will do:

• Comprehensive Evaluation:  Assessing the pelvic floor, core, hips, and low back to identify the root cause of symptoms.
• Manual Therapy:  Using internal or external techniques to release muscular tension and trigger points, reducing pelvic pain.
• Therapeutic Exercise:  Designing customized programs to strengthen weak muscles or relax overactive muscles, enhancing functional control.
• Biofeedback & Education:  Utilizing specialized equipment to help patients visualize and control muscle activity, alongside teaching proper body mechanics and breathing techniques.

Job Requirements:

Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy is required.
Experience & Skills:
New Grads and Experienced PT's welcome
Licensure/Certification:
Must be a Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Florida is required
