Job Title: Bookkeeper (Great Plains Experience Required)
Location: Tampa, FL
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Type: Temporary-to-Permanent
Pay Rate: $24–$28 per hour (based on experience)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Great Plains (Dynamics GP) and will be responsible for catching up on backlogged books and maintaining accurate financial records. This is a temp-to-perm position with the potential to become a permanent role based on performance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Update and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies.
- Handle general ledger entries, journal postings, and account reconciliations.
- Utilize Great Plains to process transactions, generate reports, and maintain accounting data.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Provide financial reports and support management as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Great Plains (Dynamics GP) is required.
- Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
