Shift: 1st Shift – Monday to Thursday 6:30 am – 5:00 pm
Pay: $20.00 per hour

About the Role:
As a Receiving Associate at our Panama City, FL facility, you'll be the first checkpoint for every shipment that comes through our doors. You'll receive, inspect, and document incoming materials, parts, and supplies — making sure what comes in matches what was ordered, and that it's ready to move into production without delays. If you're detail-oriented, organized, and good at keeping communication flowing between teams, you'll fit right in here.
What You'll Do:
- Receive incoming shipments of materials, parts, and supplies, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage or discrepancies
- Compare received items against purchase orders and packing slips to confirm goods match description and quality standards
- Record all received materials in the company's inventory management system, including quantities, lot numbers, and serial numbers
- Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to the appropriate department or supplier for resolution
- Collaborate with purchasing and warehouse teams to resolve receiving discrepancies, including returns, replacements, or adjustments
- Ensure all received materials are properly labeled, tagged, and stored in designated locations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area, including keeping aisles clear and disposing of packaging materials
- Communicate effectively with internal teams — purchasing, production, and quality control — to provide timely updates on incoming shipments
- Participate in periodic physical inventory counts and reconciliation activities
- Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks) as needed to move incoming freight
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures while performing receiving duties
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in receiving and inspection tasks
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work 40 hours per week and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and a team-first mindset
- Willingness to undergo background check, drug test, and physical
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Lifting: Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
- Environment: Work in a facility with loud noise, extreme temperatures, and environmental stressors.
- Physical Activities: Sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, crouch, reach, and grasp as needed.
- PPE: Wear required PPE, including eye and hearing protection, gloves, and safety toe footwear.
- Dexterity and Vision: Manual dexterity and specific vision abilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment).
- Stamina: Stand for long shifts.
- Skills: Effective communication, basic math skills, and teamwork.
- Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and address hazards.
