**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
+ Monitor and report any unusual activity, security-related breaches, or hazards observed during patrols.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.
+ Assist in implementing emergency response protocols as directed by site management or Allied Universal leadership.
+ Complete required documentation and reports accurately after each shift or incident.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
+ Possess an armed guard card or license.
+ Hold an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
+ Be at least 21 years of age.
+ Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
