Here's what you'd do:

• Perform a variety of duties in support of end users for Information Technology (IT) hardware or software.
• Basic technical certification, hardware repair, component-level knowledge, operating systems (Windows, Unix/Linux, application knowledge, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Install and configure network devices (i.e., network printers, scanners, plotters, Personal Computers (PCs), etc.).
• Troubleshoot problems with network printing and scanning devices. Perform data termination/ activation in telecommunication closets, also known as network connections (activation of data drops).
• Assist in the relocation of customer employees to the facility (move Personal Computers (PCs) and activate data drops in the new location).
• Troubleshoot network issues with Personal Computers (PCs) and Local Area Network (LAN) (duplex mismatches, duplicate IPs, corrupt firewall software, proxy configuration issues, etc.).
• Demonstrate excellent customer service.
• Set up and configure Personal Computers (PCs) .

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $19.35/hr.

Hours: 4x10 Monday-Thursday.

Length: Contract (12m+ with opportunity of extension).

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of technical experience, consisting of hardware repair.
• Minimum of 2 years of technical experience, consisting of operating systems such as Windows, Unix/Linux, and Apple.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Able to work in a team environment as well as independently.

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
• In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be needed to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
• Clean driving record as a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) might be run.
• Possible lifting may be necessary up to 50 lbs.
• Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
