Specifically, we are looking for a TS/SCI cleared Systems Engineer - S enior to support this mission at Hurlburt Field, Florida .

Responsibilities:

As a Systems Engineer - S enior , you will provide technical and management leadership for all equipment and information support functions across the Task Order. Your responsibilities include:

  • Serves as a lead technical expert in designing, optimizing , and providing advanced engineering oversight for systems administration across C2ISR Data Transport Infrastructure technological platforms.
  • Support of GLOBAL INFRASTRUCTURE Primary transport and dissemination systems including DDS, B1DDS, B2TR, B3IGS
  • Support of Cloud infrastructure including GC2, mC2, Joint Cloud with DAF CLOUDworks
  • Support of Operations and Management systems including ServiceNow, CDS, CAAP
  • Support of Network Infrastructure including RGEPs, IGEPs, MGEP, ground terminals and gateways
  • Support of Multiple network domains (e.g., Commercial, NIPR (CUI), SIPR, JWICS)
  • Is COOP trained and leads the design and implementation of integrated strategies for complex network configuration management (e.g., Infrastructure as Code), performance monitoring (e.g., AI/ML-driven anomaly detection), and strategic technological resource optimization across global platforms.
  • O versees the deployment of enterprise-wide systematic monitoring protocols, integrating security information and event management solutions, and designing automated remediation workflows for critical alerts.
  • M anages comprehensive user access management frameworks for diverse C2ISR environments, including identity federation, certificate management (PKI), and advanced RBAC across multiple domains (e.g., on-premise , cloud, tactical).
  • Provides expert engineering guidance for the coordination of ASIs and complex troubleshooting efforts, developing advanced diagnostic tools and methodologies, and designing resilient system architectures to minimize impact.
  • Drives the optimization of C2ISR systems administration through continuous process improvement, automation strategy development, and the integration of cutting-edge technologies (e.g., DevOps tools, cloud orchestration for administration).
  • Functions as a technical expert across multiple high-impact systems administration engineering assignments, guiding junior and journeyman engineers, and contributing to strategic platform evolution and capacity planning.
  • Utilize the following TO Management & Financial Tracking Tools: Task Order portal; Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate); MS Project; Primavera; GFP management modules; WBS tracking systems; ServiceNow; Jira Service Desk; automated RIP/CTP/TAR workflows; SharePoint libraries; Confluence; Microsoft Search; lessons learned databases; video library repositories; Archer GRC; eMASS internal audit portals; Excel/SharePoint audit templates; CMDB with version control; Power BI with R/Python integration; Tableau; predictive analytics engines; Teams; Azure AD role based access; mobile access via Power Apps.
  • Utilize the following Role Specific Tools: Network engineering platforms (SolarWinds, NetScout, Cisco DNA Center); SATCOM monitoring and acquisition tools (Satellite Acquisition Manager, L3 Harris SRVT monitoring, ViaSat hub portals);); latency measurement and QoS optimization tools (p95/p99 latency trackers, edge computing performance monitors); cloud orchestration and sustainment tools (Azure Arc, AWS Console, milCloud 2.0 IL5 Landing Zone Grizzly2.0, containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, virtualization with VMware/Hyper V); cross domain solution monitoring ( Everfox High Speed Guard dashboards, CDS compliance trackers); end to end visibility dashboards (AI assisted anomaly detection, service dependency mapping CMDB, mission impact scoring); data redundancy elimination tools (adaptive bitrate streaming platforms, transrate /transcode engines,); engineering deployment kits (Tactical Relay Kits, RGEP/IGEP installation toolsets); incident tracking and COOP readiness systems (alternate site readiness trackers, SOP libraries).

Qualifications

Require d qualifications :

  • Previous experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role supporting a DoD customer at the C CMD leve l
  • Minimum of 6years’ experience with a BS/BA or 4 years’ experience with an MS/MA or 2 years’ experience with a PhD. or 10 years' w/o a degree or 8 years' with AS/AA
  • A current, active DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level
  • US citizenship is required
  • DoD 8140 role for WRC: 451; Element: IT; Work Role: System Administrator; Proficiency Level: Intermediate / ability to obtain

  • DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III/IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System (OS) certificate within six months of the assignment.
  • Minimum of 8years’ experience with a BS/BA or 6 years’ experience with an MS/MA or 3 years’ experience with a PhD. or 12 years' w/o a degree or 10 years' with AS/AA

Work Environment:

  • Location:  Hurlburt Field , FL
  • On-site expectations : Full -time on-site presence required for equipment management and asset tracking
  • Travel: May require occasional travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites for logistics coordination and facility assessments

Details

Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
