Optometrist (Part-time) - Fort Myers/Punta Gorda, FL
Are you a skilled optometrist looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity? We invite you to join this ophthalmology team based in Fort Myers and Punta Gorda, FL, offering a compensation rate of $700 per diem.
Schedule:
- Monday: Fort Myers
- Wednesday: Punta Gorda
- Friday: Fort Myers
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough examinations and provide postoperative care for patients, primarily focusing on cataract surgery recoveries, as well as lid surgeries and pseudophakic evaluations.
- Diagnose and manage eye diseases and vision disorders.
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.
- Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry practices.

Requirements:
- A valid state optometry license or one actively being obtained is required.
- Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing eye conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Comfortable seeing postoperative patients, primarily cataract postops, but also lid postops and pseudophakic exams.
