LITIGATION ATTORNEY – NON-PARTNERSHIP TRACK

A top-10 AmLaw international law firm is seeking a talented Litigation Attorney to join their Miami office in a non-partnership track position . This is an outstanding opportunity for a litigator with experience handling complex disputes to work on sophisticated matters while benefiting from the support and resources of a premier international platform.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record .
• Active Bar Admission in Florida , in good standing.
• 4+ years of substantive litigation experience , including significant work in both state and federal courts .
• Experience drafting pleadings , motions , and briefs , managing discovery , and taking/defending depositions .
• Background in healthcare and/or ERISA litigation is highly desirable .
• Prior state or federal clerkship experience is a plus .
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and opposing counsel.
• Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and commitment to client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of litigation matters from inception through resolution in both state and federal courts .
• Draft and review pleadings , briefs , motions , and discovery responses .
• Take and defend depositions and handle discovery disputes .
• Provide timely, accurate, and well-reasoned legal analysis and work product.
• Engage directly with clients to understand objectives, anticipate needs, and develop strategies.
• Participate in hearings , client meetings , and business development activities as needed.
• Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and professional staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver comprehensive legal services.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Compensation : Annual base salary is expected to range from $260,000+ , depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors.
