George Moore Chevrolet started serving the Jacksonville area in 1986. In 2010, we opened in a new location at 10979 Atlantic Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32225 in the heart of the Arlington automotive community.

JOB SUMMARY:
A salesperson will be responsible for... selling cars! You are the bridge between the customer and their future vehicle that suits their driving needs and preferences. You will be responsible for staying up-to-date with the dealership's vehicles and their capabilities. We will teach you the road to the sale, delivery, negotiation and overall, give you the training to be successful so no experienceis needed.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Greeting customers arriving at the dealership
- Having knowledge of the dealership's vehicles and explaining their features and warranties to customers
- Answer customer questions about cars, financing and purchase process
- Accompany customers on test drives, collecting licenses and documentation beforehand per best practices
- Negotiate car prices and trade-in values for customers vehicles
- Coordinate with the finance department to determine each customers financing and ownership options
- Contact past customers to ensure they are satisfied with their vehicles
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer service skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- State drivers license with satisfactory DMV driving record
- MVR with no more than 3 points on license
- Must meet other company requirements for employment such as background check and drug test
- No experience is necessary. We will train you!
PAY:
We offer a competitive commission draw pay plan with monthly bonuses.

- 1 week of vacation after 1 year of employment and 2 weeks after 2 years
- Five paid holidays (New Years Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day)
- GM training for all
- Closed Sundays
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT:
Is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach, stoop, kneel and crouch. Required to sit, climb or balance and taste/smell. Must lift within the parameters of the responsibility of the job. Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Working both indoors and outdoors.
