Job Summary

Established plumbing and mechanical contractor currently seeking a highly motivated and professional Senior HVAC Estimator in Tallahassee FL. This position will be responsible for estimating commercial HVAC projects which may include schools, hotels, hospitals and military bases for both our Tallahassee FL office.

Responsibilities

· Review specifications and note any special requirements for project

· Advise all subcontractors and suppliers of job, location and bid date

· Take off equipment and specialties

· Take off rough-in by system, building and floor

· Create a job overhead expense spreadsheet

· Attend pre-bid meetings

Skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel, Word and Outlook

· Experience using estimation software, Viewpoint MEP Estimating a plus

· Ability to create a master cost code breakdown off of estimate for project using Excel

· Strong time management skills

Qualifications

· 4+ years’ experience in HVAC Estimating

· Willing and able to work a 40+ hour work week

· Valid photo ID

· Highschool diploma or equivalent

· Experience in the field is a plus
