Senior Accountant (Real Estate Industry) Location Boca Raton, FL :

A national commercial real estate company is hiring a Senior Accountant to join their team onsite in Boca Raton. This position will be responsible for (but not limited to):

• Reviewing commercial leases
• Accounting for triple net lease contracts
• CAM recovery billings
• Managing preparation of annual recovery budget
• Managing all general accounting operations including month-end close process, A/P, A/R, Collections, billing, monthly rent-up process, etc.
• Preparing financial statements, budgets, cash flow forecasts and other analytical reports on as needed basis
• Maintaining loan schedules on outstanding property loans
• Coordinating with senior management and outside accounting firms the preparation of annual tax returns

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in commercial real estate accounting including:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar field of study required
• 4+ years of accounting experience for a real estate firm (commercial real estate preferred)
• Hands-on experience with month-end close process, AR/AP management, financial reporting, cash flow management, forecasting, budgets, etc
• Experience designing and implementing internal controls
• Experience with any commercial leasing software is a plus. Familiarity with Yardi commercial leasing software is big plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
