The Blackberry Center, a Behavioral Hospital and Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Director of Social Services to join our team in St. Cloud, Florida. Nestled in a tranquil setting just outside of Orlando, our Central Florida mental health facility provides patients with a safe place to reflect, reset, and heal. As a Director of Social Services, you will play a vital role in shaping the social services department and ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide innovative and effective leadership to the social services department, overseeing the development and implementation of social services programs and services

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and services

• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, fostering strong connections to support patient care and continuum of services

• Recruit, train, and supervise social workers and other support staff, promoting a culture of excellence and compassion

• Develop and manage department budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and allocation of funds

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, driving continuous improvement and excellence in patient care

Requirements:

• LCSW or LMHC Licensure

• 3+ years experience in Mental Health or Substance Abuse settings
